For Vinyl lovers, a new reference phono preamp has just arrived here at Lotus. The JMF PHS 7.2 is a UK first and stands alongside our phono stages from Thrax, Soulnote, Brinkmann and Tidal.

The JMF Audio 7.2 features a dual mono design, fully balanced circuitry, a short signal path, individual subchassis with integral suspension, and JMF Audio’s proprietary PGP analog printed circuit boards.

At the rear we have 2 single ended and two balanced inputs, 3 outputs (2 balanced, 1 unbalanced) and individual per input load settings in close proximity to the input socketry, to allow for instant seamless switching between cartridges.

The front panel sports a high gain for MM and MC cartridges, absolute phase switching, elimination of the lowest frequencies with a passive subsonic filter, a mute function and of course chassis power switch. A master power rocker is located at the rear near the IEC mains socket. The 7.2 can also now be fitted with JMF’s bespoke step up which debuted at Munich 2025.

On shop and home demo now here at Lotus, priced at £26,000 in silver or black.

For even more functionality customers can order the 7.3 unit which offers x3 simultaneous inputs, a mono mode and adjustable RIAA.
